Teachers are very important when talking about other fields of professionalism, they have all played a very important role in training up the people in the society. They're known as the mother of all other professions and they give guidance and knowledge to every other field to embark on their professional journey.

They're too much words which we can use to describe who a teacher is, teachers have this full confidence in a child and they see the potential which they carry, their work here is that they try to grow this potential. Teachers knows how well they pass on knowledge to their students, we have to give a huge kudos to them!.

What is your definition of a professional Teacher?

We have all taught in many ways, and we can be called teachers if we are looking at it from a professional view, but we can't be called professional teachers. After attaining my secondary school level I was exposed to many topics and tricks which made it easier for me to teach the younger one's in that field, I taught them to their own understanding but I didn't deserve the "Professional Teacher" tag.

Every professional Teacher undergoes certain teaching, skills and instructions which helps them understand how to handle a classroom at different conditions and also know the skills needed to control the classroom atmosphere, they are all trained at this. These teachers are taught on how to communicate effectively and also carry their students along. I taught based on my own understanding, even if I did teach well, someone would easily know that I am not a professional teacher. Now I would love to define a professional teacher this way.

A Professional Teacher is a trained personnel who undergoes certain series of education and trainings and has degrees to flourish in their teaching field.

How do we differentiate a professional Teacher from those who are in the field for just the salary?

To differentiate between a professional teacher and a mere teacher is just at the person's level of professionalism, how well they communicate and understand what they're teaching.

I would love to use this example to show real clarity between a pro-teacher and a mere teacher. Take a look at Lecturers if not all, most of them are very professional in their field. Before getting to that hight stage, lecturers have undergone practicals and teaching and they know the most in and out of that course besides the teacher, he might have the knowledge but he won't have that extra knowledge on that.

During lectures, one of our lecturer handling the Physics course was so good, he explained the terms practically and theoretically which made it easier for us to understand, we had a very clear understanding of what we didn't understand when we were taught by teachers. Teachers were so focused on what they read and understood but professional teachers in this case I should say act an speak like they were in the buildup, the teach in a professional manner and you will easily understand the course.

What are the criteria for becoming a professional Teacher?

The criteria needed in this field is education, all you have to do is to select the area you won't to study. For example, based on the mode of acceptance in my country, if you want to teach English Language you will have to pass your secondary school level examination. The take JAMB exams which is compulsory to get into a university, the fill in the course you would love to study, you will pass series of lectures, semesters and session and also undergo projects and seminar to help smoothen your field.

During this era, you will be given a school to teach to help improve your teaching skills and more. The criteria for becoming a professional teacher is just through education, you have to undergo these trainings through education and get your certificate which will prove you're a professional teacher.

Do you think those who are there for the salary can offer same thing with professionals Who has passion for their work.

You already have a goal which is to get the bag, so your eyes will be fixed on it and all other things will be subjected to it. I would say that even some professionals in this case do go for their salary even if they're professional in their work, and truly it is your pay you will go for and that triggers you to keep teaching.

A professional teacher will be so serious with his work compared to the other teacher, the teacher knows that this is just a side hustle and he can turn in to any other job opportunity, but a professional teacher was trained for this and he knows how well to deliver, irrespective of the money he will want to render the services he has been training for.

What is your say/ Experience about this two in the field of teaching.?

I was a Teacher, a lesson teacher and I was not experienced in that Field, I was just teaching based on my knowledge on the course, I taught based on my understanding how I read from the textbook, but look a professional teacher, they can even bring down math formulas and show how to derive them with using any brain support, they are very professional in this ad they have undergone all the lectures in that field.

This is a person with special knowledge, skills and training. They transmit knowledge, develop critical thinking and prepare people. But unfortunately, there are very few of them left. Not everyone does this in good faith. For example, at university, I was forced to look for dissertation writing services, I used https://ca.edubirdie.com/dissertation-writing-services for this. All because the material at the university from the teacher was simply terrible. She was constantly late for lectures and turned a blind eye to everything. There should not be such teachers.
