We work in different organizations for our livelihood. As we have to do the work, we have to pay attention to how environment-friendly the working environment is for us. The safety of the working environment is very important. Through today's context, I will do something about the safety of the organization where I work. I Hope you stay with me.

I am working as a store executive in the store department of a steel mill.
Since this is a steel mill and the main building material is the rod, and fire is always needed to make the rod, the safety of the workers and officials working here is a critical issue.
Our company shows zero tolerance for this safety issue. Two fire extinguishers are kept in each department of the office.

• A team of 20 employees has been deployed to act as emergency volunteers in the event of an accident.
• Some exit points have been prepared in our company. So that we can get out safely if there is a problem.
• As it will have a steel mill and dust, sand, washing, etc., so many washrooms have been built for cleanliness.
• Antiseptic hand soap is always stocked.
• A doctor has been employed round the clock to provide emergency treatment in case of an accident.
• Masks are provided by the company for every employee and officer working here.

• Now let me tell you how clean my workplace is.
  I have already said that this is a steel mill. The environment here is not healthy according to the traditional rules. Here we prepare various scraps, and rods through a combination of chemicals, so there is a presence of fumes and gases in the air. Still, we try to keep our environment clean as far as possible.

Our organization is very committed to our safety. The organization always wants the people working in its organization to be healthy. The steps taken by the organization for our safety are: -

• We have made it mandatory for our office employees to wear helmets.
• Eyeglasses have been made mandatory.
• Provided hand sanitizer with antiseptic soap for sterile hand washing.
• Fire extinguishers have been kept in reserve in case of an accident.
• Emergency numbers of fire service and procession have been displayed at different places.
• Emergency exit roads are marked with large arrows.
• A water pipe is always connected to a large water tank so that water can be supplied when needed.
  In this way, our organization monitors our security.

Our company is a steel mill and steel mills cannot run without fire. So minor accidents can happen here. Our organization is ready to provide emergency medical care to accident victims. Our organization maintains a full-time doctor to provide emergency treatment. And we have a contract with a hospital to treat any of our patients in an emergency.
Also, financial assistance is provided to the accident patient if needed.

Here are some tips I can give to stay safe in our organization: -
Always wear a helmet to perform duty.
Sunglasses must be worn inside the office so that the dust and sand wash cannot directly hit the eyes.
Care should be taken in places where there is a fire or where the heat of the fire is high.
Adequate knowledge of how to use fire extinguishers should be maintained.
Always fresh with antiseptic soap.
If necessary, consult a doctor.

Working in hazardous areas without safety is nothing but futility. As far as I know, every organization gives importance to the safety of employees. Still, if an organization fails to provide safety then the steps that can be taken are: -

• The safety issue should be reported to the authorities of the institution.
• I would like to say to the employees that life is more valuable than work. In a remote incident, not only you will be affected, but your whole family will be affected. Therefore, first of all, give importance to safety and participate in work after safety.
• If necessary, the administration should inform the security issue.
  In general, safety should be the priority in the work environment.
