Greetings friend π
β Share your knowledge with others about work ethics.
Ethics are professional rules and regulations or codes of conduct that are set up to guide and protect the organization, or they can be seen as set-up rules that help to enhance the smooth movement of an organization.
β Discuss how work ethics effects the standard of an organization.
Well, I'm finding it difficult π to understand this question but if my guessing is right then I think this question should be referring to it positively, because we all know that following rules and regulations can not be wrong, and also it can lead to any negative thing, instead it helps us.
So I would say that ethics helps workers in an organization to be hardworking, and creative, and also it impacts some moral behavior in them because not all adults have moral lessons, or maybe they know but just decide to neglect them, like I said earlier that as a Lab scientist or technician you are not allowed to disclose a patient's results.
Well, there was a staff at the hospital where I was carrying out my practicals, the staff mistakenly disclosed the results of an HIV-positive patient to his friends, although he was trying to save his friend because his friend was trying to get into a relationship with the lady and he didn't want his friend to contaminate the HIV, but that was wrong because he said it in public, and at the end the news spread and the staff got expelled from work.
β Discuss some work ethics as practiced in your organization.
Well as a future medical laboratory scientist ππ«£ some of the ethics that are being practiced in the laboratory unit are
Always wear your personal protective equipment (PPE) such as a Lab coat and gloves when investigating in the laboratory.
Being respectful and professional at all times, you have to leave all your worries behind once you get to work because you are dealing with sick people who are in pain π₯Ί and going true a lot and would need all the care that there is in the world.
Being open and honest when communicating with colleagues and patients
Obeying all the rules and regulations guiding the Lab.
Never disclose a patient's results, we are not allowed to disclose a patient's result to anyone not even to the patients, they have to go and meet the doctor with the results.
Treating patients with care and respect
β How does work ethics enhance effective productivity in an organization?
Just as I defined ethics earlier, if you read it properly you would understand that when those ethics are being followed and respected carefully then that organization will definitely progress, with ethics a person can be sure of effective productivity in an organization.
This would be true only if the individuals in that organization adhere to the ethics, especially when it comes to being respectful and professional at all times, when you follow this rule anywhere you may be working it would enhance effective productivity in that organization because this shows that you know and also do your work properly.
Just like Steemit, for example, steemit also has some ethics guiding it which are the rules and regulations, and the number one of them all which we all know as plagiarism, I'm sure that every Steemian is aware that they should avoid plagiarism because it would damage their reputation, and that might also affect steemit itself.
I'm inviting @jasminemary, @goodybest, @saintkelvin17, @waterjoe, @tripple-e, and @bossj23
