Hello friends around the world, how are you doing? Am good and happy to join this Contest organized by @fendit. When I was a child, I have lots of beautiful memories I will not forget in a hurry. I hope you will enjoy reading this lovely memories of mine because I am going to tell you why I like the memories so much and who was there with me.

I happened to be the 6th child out of the 8 children my parents had. And it happens that when my parents gave birth to me, I suffered from one sickness to the other. But thank God, my parents tried their best to save my life. Because of this incident, my parents stayed for more than 3 years before giving birth to another child. Even after giving birth to another 2 person's that followed me, I was still seen as the last child of the family. My parents was pampering me, even my elder sister too was there for me.

But things changed when I turned 7 years old. My mom being the bread winner of the family has no time for me, so she assigned my elder sister Edith to always take good care of me when she is not at home. But you may wonder why such attention was given to me. It is because, I can't feed myself, bath or defend myself when playing with fellow kids. So this my sister always do everything for me, chaii, I was so soft and was loved by all family members. One of the things I cany easily forget is this, I can't chew anything hard with my teeth, so Edith my sister always feed me with her mouth. When she chewed something, I will open my mouth to take it, hahahaha, I was enjoying it then. Each time I remember this, it makes me laugh out loud.

This time around, I want to talk about my first day in school. Back then in the village, you cannot enroll your child in any government Schools unless the child is up to 6 years of age. You can imagine that, after spending good 6 years playing at home, my mom took me to school to aquire knowledge. I was terrified and told my mom that I don't want to go to school. Mom encouraged me, bought new beautiful clothes and shoes for me. She promised to do more if, I took my studies serious. With that, I started schooling and mom kept to her promise until school becomes part of me. So, I don't think that I will forget this act of kindness showed to me by my late mother.

I have many other childhood memories, but I want to share this lovely memories of mine with you.
