Quevedo's career was born directly from the pandemic, and if we take into account his rhythmic and danceable melody, the catchy chorus and party lyrics of "Quédate" have had no limits in festivals, clubs and parties in recent years. Just 24 months ago, Quevedo said he dropped out of college at 18 to go into the studio and make music during the pandemic.

As a teenager, he and his friends started freestyle rapping. As he tells Cypher, he was inspired by rapper Mike Towers and "reggae music", which is his most frequent and favorite music, although he also listened to other genres, as a child he was dedicated to Fan and Alejandro Sanz. Calling himself Quevedo is not a pseudonym, but a surname that he uses as a personal brand.
