Ed Sheeran left his folk sound this time trying to incorporate R&B in his song "Sing". It was influenced by Justin Timberlake's sound as Ed Sheeran stated, and also produced by Timberlake's collaborator and producer Pharrell Williams. The track was the lead single off Ed Sheeran's second album "x" (Multiply). It became a number 1 hit on UK Singles Chart, while it reached number 13 in Billboard Hot 100.
