Ashanti has already achieved stardom as a solo artist from his previous single "Foolish", which was preceded by being a featured artist for songs by Ja Rule and other rappers. She also appeared in music video of Jennifer Lopez, and co-wrote some of her songs as well as back up vocals. Her second solo single has been "Happy". It gave her another top 10 hit Billboard Hot 100 as it peaked at number 8. It reached number 13 in UK Singles chart.
