Coldplay actually performed moderately with their album "Everyday Life", and they returned to commercial sound through "Music of the Spheres" album. The song featured "Higher Power" as the lead single. It became a moderate hit though charting at number 53 on Billboard Hot 100. The single performed better in their homeland United Kingdom, as it peaked at number 12, and certified platinum.
