New Kids on the Block or NKOTB really had a difficult time on their debut. Their first single "Be My Girl" from their self titled debut album "New Kids on the Block" flopped. The second single from the album was "Stop It Girl", a bubblegum pop track with new jack swing elements. It seems the lads loved to add "girl" in the title of their songs. Meanwhile "Stop It Girl" also flopped.
