There are several versions about St. Valentine.
St. Valentine was a priest from Rome who lived in the third century.
He did not like that emperor Claudius banned soldiers from getting married, he organised and performed their marriages secretly. When the emperor found this out, St. Valentine was put in jail and sentenced to death.
