I have known Meg Morley for a few years already, but we didn't perform that much together yet. She was actually the pianist on my first ever paid tap gig.

The videos that are filmed with a phone and a vertical camera angle are from the actual show, the ones where we are wearing masks are from the soundcheck.

On the night we performed two sets that were completely improvised and about 45. minutes each.
It is crazy to think that when I started tap dancing I was really really scared of improvisation and now it is all I do.

I hope you enjoy all these videos. I am also going to copy our biographies into this from the website, but I was the one writing them and sending it in first place, just in case someone thinks I shouldn't post this.

This is our Blurp on the website:

Petra Haller and Meg Morley met a few years back at the Freedom of Improvisation Loft jam at the Vortex led by Cleveland Watkiss, Orphy Robinson, Tori Handsley and Paul Bradshaw and have since then collaborated on various projects.

Classically trained from the age of two, Melbourne-born London-based musician Meg Morley was awarded Distinctions by the Australian Music Examination Board for its Associate and Licentiate diplomas in piano and completed a Masters of Music in classical performance and a Postgraduate Certificate in composition. She studied Jazz improvisation at the Victorian College of the Arts.

Petra is an Independent dance artist and tap dancer based in London. She has has studied tap dance mainly at workshops under Jason Samuels Smith, Derick Grant and Andrew Nemr who not only taught her the dance style but also introduced her to the roots of this African-American Art form in jazz music and African-American history.
