Lambani folk song dance video

This dance video is based on a Lambani folk song.
Lambanis, also called Lambadis or Banjaras, were nomadic tribes
who came from Afghanistan to Rajasthan and have now
spread themselves across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh,
Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
Lambanis are famous for their highly colorful dress
with beautiful patterns on them (the dress worn by Rekha
in this dance video is inspired by the Lambani dress),
ornaments made with coins and colorful round and oval beads.
Lambanis are a very vocal tribe, singing folk songs and dancing in their
own unique style during their leisure time.They earn their livelihood
mainly as traders of various goods. They also engage in fishery, agriculture, driving, and hotel business to some extent.
