Basics of Agriculture

Hi everyone I am fine and I hope that you all will be also fine and would be doing Great work at Steemit .Today I am here to participate in a contest which is related to farming .The contest is organized by @muhammad-ahmad in the Steem-Agro Community .

Agriculture is the practice of growing plants and also raising livestock animals like cows and sheep for food and clothes etc.In agriculture their included farming ,cultivation and growing crops like wheats etc.

Food :

Agriculture has a major importance in a country's growth and it is also important for human societies because in agriculture there are farming which gives many kind of food like it gives us wheat and also many other things like rice ,beans and corns etc .In agriculture raising livestock animals like cows and sheep are also considered it is important because it is used for Food (Meat).

There are some plants which produce cotton and from this cotton, clothes are made in the industries.

Increase the rate of employment :

Agriculture also increases the rate of employment due to many jobs in farming like farmers ,drivers for transferring crops from on e place to other and also for the employment in the industries where there from the cotton clothes are made.

The main types of agriculture which are practiced globally are this :

• Subsistence Agriculture
• Commercial Agriculture
• Industrial Agriculture

IT is a type of agriculture in which a farmer cultivate enogh crops in which he can feed himself or feed his whole family and in this type of agriculture a farmer also can sale little bite crops .In this type of agriculture there is need of only a small capital to start .

Commercial Agriculture is a type of agriculture where there the farmers had to use some technologies for the production of many crops for sale purposes not only to feed themselves or their family but their goal is profit . For this type of agriculture, there is a need for a big capital to start because they have to cultivate many crops.

Where as the industrial agriculture has to do much large scale farming to produce many crops I mean large number of crops using many technologies for the big profits for the sale purpose in both national and international markets .These type of farming are usually run by companies and this type of agriculture also need very big capital to start.

There is the list of the key crops grown around the world with their uses are :

• Wheat
• Rice
• Sugarcane
• Cotton

Wheat is a key crop which is grown around the world and it is used for the food for the Humans as well as for the animals.Wheat is also used to make bread and cakes etc.

Rice is used for making dishes like Biryani and also for sweet .

From sugarcane, the sugar is made From which different kind of sweets are made and also it is also used in the tea .

Cotton is mainly used to make clothes in the industries. This means that the cotton crop is very important and mostly used around the world.
