What are agricultural bye products, and name at least 5 you know.

Agricultural bye products are those secondary products which are generated when processing of primary agric goods. These by-product are not often utilized for theeir main original purpose and can include various plants and animal materials that can be recycled for different uses.

Examples of this agricultural by-product are

Straw the stalks of cereal are left behind after harvesting grains like wheat and even barley . Straws are often used for mulching and animal bedding or they can be used as components in a composed manure

Rice husks are used as biomass fuel in animal feed or can be used as soil amendments

Peanut shell the shells of peanut can also be used for animal bedding and also in the production of particleboard and also as a source of bioenergy

What importance are these bye products to human.

Here are some importance of agric by-product to humans

Sustainable resource
Agriculture by-product help humans to promote sustainability and reduce waste. For example using straws for mulching in farming and it can be used as manure.

Animal feed
Agricultural by-product like corn stover can be used for animals feed and there are also rich in nutrients and can provide essential fiber and energy for livestock.

Soil improvement

By-product of agriculture can be used to create composed manure which can be used for plants fertility and yeild. Also they help to save money.
