What is Agricultural Technology in your own words

Agricultural technology can be defined as the use of modern agricultural machines to increase sustainability and efficiency of food production. This technology makes agriculture more interesting because it will reduce some kinds of stress farmers will experience in the farm field. In fact, it is far better than manual tools which consume our energy, waste most of our time, and sometimes lead to a decrease in food production. This modern advanced technology allows farmers to make more profit in their businesses.

It is also one of the fastest machines to make the work of farmers easier, which is why many farmers demand for this innovation. For example, drones can be used in a day to spread the pesticide to our farm rather than using manual tools that would take some days to finish the work. Agricultural technology, popularly known as agritech or agrotech, plays an important role in meeting the demands of large populations, especially during food scarcity in the market. So this technology will stabilize the price and also increase food output.

The following are the modern farm equipment that allow farmers to carry out their farm operations effectively:

• Planting Machine

• Harvesters

• Tractor

• Drones

• Planting Machine: This machine is used by farmers to plant varieties of seeds in a large area of land, typically after cultivating the soil. It is better to use this machine compared to bending or jumping from one cultivation to another.

• Harvesters: This type of modern agricultural equipment is used when you want to harvest your farm products. Harvesters are best used to separate grain from chaff.

• Tractor: This is another modern agricultural equipment, but they vary in size. Farmers use this equipment to work by attaching other farm machinery to perform necessary farm tasks. In fact, it is considered the main machine that helps farmers execute their projects perfectly.

• Drones: Farmers who are able to afford this machine use it for monitoring and spraying chemicals on the crops. Farmers like to use this equipment because it reduces the time and saves the cost of labor by reducing the need to employ too many workers.

Conclusion

Agricultural technology improves the farmers' way of life, enabling them to feed the masses, which will eventually reduce the price of food in the market. I would like to invite @huraira50, @mhizta and @abisolami to come and participate in this contest.
