Hello friends, how are you all doing today, hope that you people will be fine and doing great in life. @hive-118902 organized a contest about agricultural activities and relating to it. There are several questions which I will be going to answer and do by best to explain it to you people.

Agricultural practices are very essential for us because we get a lot food from agriculture and then we preserve it for people to eat and fulfill their appetite. Agriculture practices has its own budget in every country and its budget as well as its land for agricultural practices increases every year with incremental demand for food.
Q:What is crop propagation?
  • Propagation is distribution or spreading of things in the surrounding. It can be anything; relating to plants, propagation is spreading of species through natural method or artificial. Natural process is distribution of pollen grains through air and artificial includes sowing seeds by humans. In example; Aloe Vera makes new tiny plants and propagate its species. In artificial, sowing of seeds in a land or pot(including soil for growing plants).

Q: What are the different methods of crop propagation?

A method in which roots are created when stem is cut and attached to a plant.Cutting a stem of one plant and attaching it to another healthy plants cut or opened stem to make it a one branch.Dividing one plant to many plants by making more plants from one plant.A laboratory method of creating new plants under specific environment to grow many plants from tiny seeds or nucleus.
Q: What is the importance of crop propagation?

Importance of propagation is that new plants are generated, new babies are born. It is necessary to preserve the existence of the species of plants, plants are very important because every plant has its own value and importance. Some plants provides us food, some have beautiful flower; making our world beautiful, some have very attractive smell and their scents are used in perfumes, plants have their beauty, trees are homes for many birds and some animals, creates oxygen and intake carbon dioxide to purify the air and they provide us fruits and dry fruits. It increases nature and it is a comfortable feeling when walking in green grass; a great feeling of life. Moreover, people love to travel to greener areas when they want to relax or enjoy vacation on greener mountains mostly.

Sexual propagationIt contains fertilization of plant through pollination, when a pollen grain of one plant fertilize the stigma of the same or different plant. It is done through air and majorly through honey bees when they extract juice from the flower.
AsexualIt is done by taking part of a plant and reproducing a plant, the new plant is identical to parent plant. e.g. attaching a stem of a plant to another plant.
