Hello friends, it's another moment to share my views here with us. Agriculture has its backbone in the human need for food in its daily activities. It has brought about sustainability and food security. The human food needs are insatiable, hence the continuous food needed. Lets look at the contest hints required for my inLet's
The times we are in, today, has brought untold didifficulties to us. The high inflation seen now has taken away more funds from us in a quest to get some of the groceries we purchased before now. This is a situation where we spend more money for fewer goods.
A situation where we have to adopt retail purchases other than bulk or wholesale purchases so as to meet up with available funds. We no longer buy food supplies in larger quantities as available income has been degraded by inflation.
Buying on credit has become rampant, buying in retail so as to have varities at home, then planning and making compulsory savings has been imbibed for this purpose.
I have to plan in line with the present circumstances in relation to my available income. Cutting down on unneeded items until they are needed so as to free up funds for survival.
Presently, I do not have any alternative to supplying food in-house, but just a few days ago, i decided to make a small tomatoe and pepper bucket garden where these perishables would help sustain my home supplies.
This was necessitated due to the increase in food items, especially tomatoes. Having a make shift garden is one good decision at this moment. It is better later than never.
Rice is the real deal. It is worrisome why the price of this staple food is on the increase. We hope the government wades in and arrests this ugly trend. The price of rice has doubled severally given the country's inflation indices.
Rice is sold for about 110,000 NGN, which is valued at 393 steem against a partly 178 steem a year ago. We consume this food almost on a daily basis, as the case may be. Kids find it easy to eat, and it also their favourite for school meals.
Having a mini farm or garden is surely the way to go. The prices of food commodities aren't on the low side anymore, and since our income isn't sufficient enough to carry us all the month, the only alternative is getting a farm.
I would concentrate on grains, vegetables, and livestock. if I must go into this, grains like maize and beans would top my grain list; vegetables like paper and tomato pepers; then livestocks like chicken, snail, and catfish would top my list.
These are some of my favourite items to be included in my farm if there is an opportunity to go into that fully. However, there is a mini garden in place.
I wish to invite @eveetim, @rosenenye, @chilaw

Thank you very much for participating in the contest. Agriculture does not only mean farming in the field, you can grow flowers, fruits and various vegetables anywhere you want, you just need to have the willpower. You have done very well to plant tomato and pepper seedlings which will meet some of your family's food needs. Moreover, since rice is the favorite food in your country, the cultivation should be increased, then its price will be under some control. You have described it very well. Best wishes to you. But at least join #club5050.
