Mention the 3 farm animals you know or have use on your farm before. You can share some pictures of your own if you have one but if not, you can use pictures that are free to use.

Fortunately, I have had the opportunity to work with three delightful farm animals which includes Goats, Sheep and Pigs, as for goats we found it very amusing and interesitig to raise animals such as them with their curious personalities that also love to climb as for our sheep, they are so gentle as well as the wool that they produce, it was such a pleasure to take care of our pigs which are so intelligent and loves to interact with people and everything that we found in managing each animal is such a thrill and each has its own importance in the farms, have been a thrill to manage and each has brought unique benefits and experiences to the farm.

Mention the importance of these farm animals and their disadvantages.

Importance of Goats, Sheep, and Pigs:

Goats: Offer milk, meat and hair. The former provides alots of nutrition to the later while the latter provides protein to the former so goats are useful as well in managing lands due to their ability to eat weed and bush.

Sheep:

Offer wool, milk, and meat. They use their wool for their clothes, and their milk for the preparation of cheese and other milk products. And besides, grasslands and pastures are also managed by sheep.

Pigs: As always a good supply of meat, hide and fat is a good source of identifying good deer farms. Pigs can be used as a source of protein, and it’s widely tasted meat is consumed across the world. They also contribute to waste management as the food leftovers are consumed by them .

Disadvantages of Goats, Sheep, and Pigs:

Goats:

Needs frequent check ups from vet, and their cage can be expensive. Goats are also seen as destructive animals especially in regard to plants including crops and trees most of the time are not well managed.

Sheep: Are prone to diseases and parasites, which costs a lot in the end. Sheep are also other animals that need to be sheared, and this practice requires some time as well as some cash.

Pigs:

Can be very loud and cumbersome where it comes to discharging waste, sometimes proving difficult to dispose of. Like other livestock pigs need checkups from a veterinarian and sometimes have to be immunized.
