visiting and caring for oil palm trees

in hive-118902 •  10 days ago

Bowing and cleaning the grass around the oil palm. In the morning around 07.00 WIB I went to the hill with my friend to see the oil palm and clean the grass next to the oil palm, so that we could fertilize it again so that the trees would grow healthily

The process of cleaning the plants took approximately 12 hours. We started from morning to evening. Our enthusiasm was greater so that we could get abundant results

to grow well. Then the plastic bags were stored in beds with a diameter of 120 cm. After being stored and cared for for approximately 3 to 4 months, the sprouted seedlings had grown around 4 to 5 leaves. Seedlings that had a distribution of 4 to 5 were ready to be moved.

Then the seedlings from the nursery were moved into 0.11 mm thick polyethylene bags measuring 40 x 50 cm. The plastic bags were filled with 15 to 30 kg of sifted topsoil. Before the seedlings were moved, the soil in the plastic bags was first watered with 0.5 bottle caps of NASA POC or 5 ml per 1 liter of water. Then the polyethylene bags are arranged in an equilateral triangle position with a distance between polyethylene bags of 90 x 90 cm.

Nursery In the nursery process, care for the plants by watering, weeding, replanting and fertilizing. Watering is done twice a day, namely in the morning and evening. Weeding is done 2-3 times a month or adjusted to the weed status of the seedlings. Replanting is selecting dead seedlings that do not grow normally. Seedling selection is carried out when the seedlings are 4 and 9 months old. Seedlings that do not grow normally, are attacked by disease, and have genetic abnormalities or physical defects should be discarded and replaced with new, healthy seedlings.

The fertilization method at the nursery stage is as follows: Macro Fertilizer: NPK 15-15-6-4: In the 2nd and 3rd weeks as much as 2 grams. In the fourth and fifth weeks as much as 4 grams. In the sixth and eighth weeks up to 6 grams.

NPK 12-12-17-2: In the 19th and 21st weeks as much as 4 grams. In the 23rd and 25th weeks as much as 6 grams. In the 27th, 29th and 31st weeks as much as 8 grams.

POC NASA: Given between the 1st and 40th weeks with a dose of 1-2 cc per 1 liter of water per seedling. Sprayed every 1-2 weeks.

Note: The results will be better if SUPERANASA is added 1-3 times during the seedling process when fertilizing the seedlings. Use a SUPERNASA dose of 1 bottle to 450 doses. The application method is to dilute 1 bottle of SUPERNASA with 4 liters of water to become a stock solution.
