Fruits are actually one of the best farm produce because it serves various purpose. Fruits can be eaten for nutrients or taken as supplements. Most people uses it as a form of trading generally known as cash crops. Fruit plays major roles in today's world.
Here in the picture, cucumbers are sliced into round shapes mainly to add decency to the picture same goes to the orange too.

Watermelon is a large green fruit that normally grows on the ground and has a lot of nutritional benefits when consumed in warm weather. Some even testify that the black seeds inside the melon also serve as additional benefits to promote our well-being.
Watermelons are easily seen in the local markets in Nigeria at an affordable rate, although most of them are transported from northern states to the rest of the states. The reason they are surplus in their region is because they practice irrigation methods. Watermelon is low in calories, which is why we consume it to manage our weight. You can find the sellers in every corner or street near every customer.

How are you friends? I hope you are doing well. Today I am sharing a beautiful picture to cheer you up. Who knows the fruit that I am sharing today?
Just looking at this picture makes my heart feel refreshed. This fresh bunch of litchi brings back the taste of summer and childhood memories. There is a different joy in eating such litchi on the veranda of a village house with a litchi branch in hand. The water droplets on the litchi seem to increase the feeling of sweetness. Just looking at such a picture makes me think how simple and full of flavor life can be—I just want to enjoy it from the heart. 🍒✨

My CUD for the week
My roommate is an agricultural student and I was able to find this farm material by her corner.
With her permission I was able to get a few pictures of it. Woven hat or sun hats are somehow underestimated as farm materials but they are really helpful to the farmers.
They are wide enough to protect the farmers from the scorching of the sun. But I'm not sure if they could do any protection from the rain.

Today I had a great harvest of apple fruit from our backyard, it was so freshy and juicy.
As it is usually said, one apple a Day keeps the doctor away, that prompted me in making more findings about the benefits and the nutritional content of apples. In my curiosity as a chemist which I am, I needed to verify that statement " 1 apple a Day keeps the doctor away". It was actually to my greatest surprise to found out that an apple fruit actually contains more nutrients than what I thought.
I will share some of it nutritional content here and why we should all be taking at least an apple 🍎 a day.
Apple fruits are rich in essential vitamins and minerals like:
Vitamin C. (Ascorbic acid) For immune system booster etc
Vitamin A in form of Beta Carotene, for vision.
Vitamin K, and B-complex.
It also contains some minerals like:
K, Mg, Ca also in minor quantity including Fe, Zn etc
The most interesting part is that it contains Quercetin, Catechin, Flavonoids and Anthocyanins all which plays important role in the functionality of the human system.
Truly an apple a Day keeps the doctor away.

A properly weeded corn farm...
Just along my street there's this farm that weed had almost outgrow the corn that was planted there while still trying to adapt.
It was as if the farm was abandoned. Not sure if the only thing planted there was corn , but the weed didn't allow other crops to grow. Just a few days ago i saw someone weeding the place, so, I had to get these photo. You can see how nice the farm land looks now, plus the plants looking healthy...
That's the power of weed control/removal in farmlands.
With time, other crops will shoot out, and I'm sure to bring them here for you to see.
