I hereby apply for the role of a moderator in the steem-agro community.

As approved by the community for the vacancy of the role of a moderator I would love to apply to for this role.

MY JOURNEY ON STEEMIT

My journey on steemit has been a sack full of lessons and expectations. I joined steemit early 2022 and I would say I have really I have really gained a lot from it despite having difficulties with posting then.

My device was really a threat to my journey on steemit, I couldn't make a full post with a 100% charge, but with that struggles I was able to get a new device with steemit and I can make up to 5 posts in a day if I want to.

I have really learnt contentment, engagement and patience from steemit. There are always setbacks but with patience and that calmness we overcome it. I have learnt crafts, drawings, creativity which I would have paid much money to learn, I have learnt it here for free.

I haven't held any positions on steemit since I joined, but I have won a lot. The school schedule then made it very tight for me, to combine some of the work and studies, so I didn't care to take part in any role.

Why I think I'm suitable for the job

I'm very committed in doing what I want to do, and I want to be part of the moderators of this community with great potential, I have not held this role before but I know what's needed to succeed in it.

Throughout my stay in primary school and secondary school days we were introduced to agriculture, we even had a farm in school where we carried out some agricultural activities. Apart from the school level, in Nigeria almost every home then had farm land, where they carry out agricultural activities every year, so I would say that 60% of the people know about the basic form of agriculture.

Agriculture is a very suitable project everyone should have knowledge about, with steemit we can also create that awareness. My aim is to work with the community in making sure we achieve that goal which the community has, bringing in contests and lessons that will benefit everyone at large.

I've not been a moderator in any community yet, but I have gained so much knowledge about the role and my years of experience on steemit has really taught me a lot.

Experience speaks but If you're not given the chance you won't have that experience, even with less experience on the, I naturally know how to engage with fellow users, communicate in a good manner and make a nice review, most importantly correcting mistakes from fellow users in a good way, as there's no room to discourage anyone.

Time is the main thing we consider when taking such roles, I have always created time even in the midst of the exams period for steemit. Serving the community and the people without looking at the big reward if there's any. I have done so many things without getting a reward for it, so I don't expect much when I'm doing such work.
