An innovative snail farming technique. -The curtain method

The curtain method had numerous advantages regarding the better management of snail aries and facility sanitation. The curtain method allows snail excrements to instantly fall to the ground and so the environment the snail leaves in remains clean. This technique also contributes in the proper airing of the facility which prevents the spreading of diseases.

First of all the curtain method does not in any way interfere with the snail's life cycle. The snail can move and sleep in a vertical position as much as it can horizontally. Snail can perform these everyday activities upside down for that matter. Secondly the curtain method helps a snail farmer easily and effectively carry out his daily farm duties and inspections. The snails are at all times in plain sight and so the farmer doesn't have to disturb them or bend to get a better view of the snails obviously this helps the farmer have a clear view of the mating, laying and hatchling growth stages. Thirdly the curtain method helps to easily identify and remove dead snails ensuring the facility remains clean and germ free.

Additionally the curtain methods simplify snail harvesting. The farmer doesn't have to repeatedly bend down to harvest snails as it would happen if the snail farm used conventional snail farming pallets.

The curtain method confirms that it has many unquestionable advantages. This method optimizes nail farm hygiene and makes everyday farm duties less time consuming and more efficient

The curtain method has only one drawback building a snail farm with the curtain method is more costly than building a conventional snail farm.

However certain methods snailery require less space since the snail farm expands vertically and not horizontally. In fact a 1000 square meter snail farm that uses the curtain method yields the same snail production as a five-acre snail farm. Consequently the extra capital will be depreciated much faster.
