In the poultry the domesticated animals such as the ducks, chickens and gees are raised for the purpose to get meat and eggs. The poultry farm plays important role in the industry of agriculture worldwide because the poultry farm provides us meat and eggs which are the sources of protein.The chickens are mostly raised in our homes and globally. They are raised especially for the purpose to get eggs and meat.

Many people raised ducks in their homes just for the purpose of meat and eggs. They have rich flavour and are known in various cultures. The eggs of the ducks are larger in size as compared to the eggs of chickens.Some people also raised turkeys in their homes to get meat and they are raised especially in the regions of North America. These birds are larger.

The poultry farms are the best source of high quality protein and it is very essential for us. The meat if chicken and turkey are leaner and which make them healthier. The poultry farms ara a source of income in our country. There is a little investment is required initially as compared to other livestock business and the production is very high such as broiler chickens.

The poultry farms can use the by products of yeu agricultural sector like feed and reducing the waste products and can be helpful to promote a circular economy.The poultry farms are the major source of protein production for the population. Because the poultry farms produce eggs and meat and the meat is an essential product in our diet.

The poultry farms can be a source of food security by providing affordable protein sources. These farms are affordable to meet the needs of proteins for all over population. But at the same time the poultry farms face different challenges such as influenza. Biosecurity measures are important for prevention.
