Contest| Agricultural Story #6

Hello and warmest greetings everyone, it's a pleasure to have you in my blog which am so delighted to participate in the week #6 of this amazing contest title; Agricultural Story organized by @ruthjoe.

Last year when we were getting ready to set up and start our farming activities for the year but the grasses in the farmland has over grown since we are on rainy season apart from that we harvested earlier than we supposed to the previous year that is why the bush over grow.
My dad went ahead to look for some labourer that will do the clearing of the grass for us in hope to pay them when they are done, unfortunately when they came and inspected the farm and the prize they agreed to do it was more than what my dad expected and wanted to pay, even despite the fact that we will still give them food while they are working still yet they refuse to reduce and bring down the prize, so my dad ask them to leave it that he will look for another people that will do for lesser price.
The next day me and my siblings agreed and decided to carry on with the clearing together so that we will share the money for the clearing instead of allowing the opportunity pass us by.
So the coming Saturday very early in the morning i and my siblings left for the farm with our cutlasses, drinking water and food that will sustain us as we are working, so when we reached the farm we shared the portion of land among our self and everybody took his or her own and started clearing for about an hour and some minute we went to eat and rested for a while before giving it a finish touches.
As we went home my dad doubted when we told him that we have finished clearing the whole grasses in the farm to the point that he even went ahead to confirm it himself and later came back happy and praising us that we really did a very good and clean job better than what the labourer would have done and he even added some money to the one he promised to give us because he was impressed and happy with the fast and good work we did that day.
