Which season does falls in my country; and what are the best planting times and why are these times the best?

I'm living in Pakistan and Allah has bestowed my country with four seasons. These are summer, winter, autumn and spring. Alhamdulillah all these seasons are best and have their own benefits. Summer is lasts from June to September, Winter started in November and ends in in the starting of March. Autumn lasts for two months February to March and Spring for April and May.

Spring is best for planting trees:

Yes among all these four seasons spring is best for planting trees. This season is started after autumn season. In spring season plants begin to grow and make new branches and leaves. So this is the best season for planting new plant. As comparing to other seasons, in spring the temperature is favourable for growing of plants and if take care properly and give them proper nutrients, the newly planted plant grow very fastly. So according to my knowledge spring is best for planting trees.

Why I choose this season?

As I mention above that in spring the temperature is very favourable for growth, neither extreme cold nor hot. That's the reason I choose this season as best for planting trees. In autumn there's no grow of plants at all as in this season mostly trees fall their leaves. In summer there's too much hot and in winter there's too much cold. In summer and winter we have to take care more of newly plant tree as compared to spring. So in conclusion spring is best season for planting new trees.

What is the importance of planting trees in the right place and in which places can trees be planted?

Importance of planting trees in right place:

Right place is very necessary for planting trees for their healthy growth. We should plant trees in a place where the soul is appropriate for growth. If we plant trees at right location ultimately they will give us environmental benefits and overall sustainability. The correct placement makes it sure that tree grow and give us long term environmental benefits. Right location for planting trees is necessary as it gives us long term benefits such as:

Optimal growth conditions

Optimal growth conditions are necessary for it's growing well. Every tree have specific needs of sunlight, soil type, space and water. We should plant a tree seeing all it's requirements so that it can grow with it's full potential. In this way it will give us shade, fruits and wood.

Energy conservation

Plants conserve energy, if think wisely and strategically than we get to know that plants conserve energy. If we plant trees around our home they give is shade this reduce the consuming of cooling devoveso. I'm winter they reduce our need of heat as trees act as wind break. So in this way they act as energy conservation.

Economical and social benefits

Trees give us pure air for breathing and keep our environment pollution free. This is the great social benefits. If we plant fruit trees in our home, we have our own fresh fruits for eating seasonally. Planting fruit trees can make our economy better.

Beside this trees stop soil erosion, reduce flood and keep the stability of soil.

Suitable place to plant trees

Rural areas: In rural areas there's a lot of trees planted alongside the fields, on streets and on farm places. Here we discuss only about urban areas.

Urban areas

1. Parks and gardens

Yes in cities these are the best places for planting trees. Public parks and gardens are the places where we should plant trees as it enhances the beauty and have aesthetic values for our life. Recently I visited Shalamar garden, Lahore, Pakistan. The internal comfort I felt their, between the green tress, can't be shared.

1. Roadside and avenues

Due to high traffic on the roads there's much pollution on the roads. So trees should be planted alongside of roads so that trees filter the air and give us pure air for breathing. For example canal road in Pakistan. This road if full of traffic but the trees planted on the side of this road make air cool and increase the beauty of road.

1. Residential and commercial properties

Plantation of trees alongside of residential and commercial areas is very suitable. Like homes, schools, offices or shopping malls. These are the suitable places for planting trees as it increases the beauty of these places and also give shade and other environmental benefits.

1. Green roofs and vertical gardens

In populated cities where is the place there should be planted plants as on the roofs or in the form of vertical gardens like on the walls. It will increase the beauty as well as give us health benefits.

What kind of fertilizers or organic fertilizers should be used to prepare the soil before planting?

To produce healthy plant growth it is important to prepare the soil before plantation. For preparing soil we can use both organic and inorganic fertilizers. Inorganic fertilizers include DAP, Urea, ammonium nitrate and Sulphur containing fertilizers. And animal manure and rooted leaves are organic fertilizers.

DAP (mixture of NPK)

DAP is commonly used in my area for preparing soil before plantation. DAP is mixture of thre major nutrients Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium. In the process of plantation trees needed these nutrients so much. That's this fertilizers should be apply in soil preparation.

Urea

Urea is also important fertilizer needed in the growth of plants. Basically urea contain nitrogen and is used for fulfilling the need of plants. So we should apply urea fertilizer while preparing the soil.

Sulphur containing fertilizers

Sulphur is also an important nutrient needed in the growth of plants. According to my knowledge sulphur is very necessary for making the plants green and to prepare them for giving us great yield. So sulphur is also important fertilizer and we should mix it in soil preparation so that plants can take sulphur from soul according to their needs.

Organic fertilizer

Organic fertilizer are full of necessary nutrients. In past organic fertilizers were used while preparing the soil for plantation. Applying organic fertilizers make the soil condition healthy and make the soil of nutrients. Animal manure, fallen leaves of plants, bones of animals are used as organic fertilizers. Among these animal manure is used most. Farmers apply animal manure in fields before plantation. It is full of necessary nutrients like Nitrogen, calcium and phosphorus.

What is the correct method of using pesticides and fungicides for gardening and which pesticides/fungicides can be used?

We used pesticides and fungicides in gardening so that we can protect our plants from weeds and fungal attack. Pesticides and fungicides are used for killing weeds and fungas.

How to apply

We should apply pesticides and fungicides correctly to maintain the plant health. Before applying we should read the it's using method on the label. Over dose can also be harmful for plants growth. Beside this it is also important to keep in mind about time of it's applying. For spraying we should do this in morning or late evening when there's no much sunlight. Pesticides like acetamiprid or neem oil can be used to control insects and pestss. Aphids and caterpillars are two main garden pests which are killed by this spray.

For protecting our garden from fungal diseases we used fungicides. Sulphur and copper are chemicals used to protect the plants from infection. Pesticides and fungicides should be used carefully as they are harmful for health of human. In natural treatment of pests and fungals diseases we can include baking soda or Neem oil. These are very effective for killing weeds and for preventing plants from infection attack, also they are dangerous for human health.

What home remedies can be used to protect plants for the roof or back garden?.

There are many home remedies which can be used to protect plants like spray of Neem oil, soda water, eggshells and many more. Let's discuss them briefly.

1. Neem oil spray:

Neem oil spray is used for killing of insects. It is also act as antifungal treatment.

How to use

Took 1 or 2 spoons of Neem oil and mix it with water. We can also mix dish soap in the mixture. This spray protect the plants from various insects and also kill aphides, mites and whiteflies.

1. Coffee grounds:

Coffee is used in almost all houses, so this is best home remedy for protection of plants. It repels ants and slugs from plants

How to use

Take some coffee ground and sprinkl it around the plants so that ants and slugsay not attack on plants.

1. Chilli pepper spray:

Chilli is also found in every kitchen so this is also can be used as home remedy for plants. The spray of chilli pepper is used to keep the insects away from plants.

How to use

For making chilli pepper spray, we first we will take some tea spoons of chilli powder. Than we will mix it with water. After mixing, we can spray it on plants.

1. Baking soda solution:

Another thing we use as home remedy for protection of plants is baking soda solution. Baking soda solution is best for protecting plants from fungal diseases like mildew.

How to use

Took one table spoon of baking soda and mix it with one gallon of water. For better result we can also add dish soap on it. When the solution is ready, spray it on the effected leaves of plants.

1. Vinegar spray:

Vinegar spray is used in kitchen. We can also use this spray as home remedy for protection of plants. This spray protect our plants from weeds.

How to use

Vinegar spray kill weeds which are harmful for plants. We can use it directly for killing weeds, but we should be very careful while using it as this spray may be harmful for plants also.

So these are some home remedies used for protection of plants. Beside this eggshells, mixture of soap and water, and garlic spray which we use on daily basis can also be used as home remedies for the protection of plants.
