Explain the difference between agriculture and farming.

Agriculture is defined as the production of crops and rearing of animals for the benefit of man, it also involves processing transportation and marketing of agricultural products.Agriculture is the art and science of cultivating the soil, growing crops, and raising livestock.

Farming is a part of agriculture because farming it can be done everyday .It refers specifically to the practice of cultivating crops and rearing animals for food, fiber. is a daily practice for checking your crops if they are producing well.

What are the 5 major problems faced by farmers?

Crop diseases: most crops have insects that eat and when that insects starts coming they can't survive , you see their leafs starts to change colors and they will not be able to produce good food but cause damage and loss to the farmers. black pods disease affect cocoa

No enough resources and technology: government should assist the farmers in giving them enough technology to make work easier and faster for farmers, instead of them doing what technology will do within an hour, and a better resources to facilitate farming in production.

Soil erosion: this is the process washing a way of the top soil by water and wind.or the soil nutrients. eg water,gully , wind erosion etc . erosion really affects farmers because the water will wash all the plants away.

Market fluctuation: most times the need for that crop will not much ,or is when price is not stable in the market or financial asset such as stock,bonds.

Illiteracy: illiteracy is very discouraging so everyone should have basic knowledge in whatever they are doing, sometimes you may be right but still telling your self that you are wrong most farmers don't have known on chemicals to use in dealing with their crops because they did not attend those basic farming programs that will help you understand agriculture and farming production and crops.

Farm automation: is the use of robots, sensors, and other technologies to perform tasks that were previously done by hand. By embracing automation in agriculture, farmers unlock savings, sustainability and market value.

Smartphone: our smartphone has helped us in communicating with business partners that want to buy agriculture produce ,we can video our farm and send to our partners.

Satellite imaging: this is best in monitoring large areas of farmland providing constant coverage over time.

Provision of food: agriculture helps to produce food for man , because of consistency in farming and rearing of crops and rearing and animals .Agriculture is the world's leading source of food items.

Sources of income: agriculture provided income to the farmers by the sale of agriculture product like maize, tomatoes,yam etc.

Employment opportunities: agriculture provide employment opportunities because in doing well in your work you will be having some cash in you because you will not be idle, most people have joined agriculture farming and they are making progress to their self .

Provision of raw materials: this supplies many industries with raw materials ,The processing of agricultural raw materials into various innovative products promotes market acceptability. To make the industry grow and not to lack materials for production.

Provision of shelter: things like rain weather sunshine,heat, shelter also protects also from wild animals, wood from trees is used for making of chair, tables.
