What are the differences between organic and conventional farming?

Organic farming

No synthetic fertilizer: this means that they is no use of chemicals they add In the crops. chemicals such as; potassium nitrates, ammonium nitrates , and urea.
Emphasis on soil health and biodiversity: Good soil health means sustainable agricultural output. It will also make you to farming practices you always do .

Use of natural materials:organic farming uses natural materials in growing their crops such as manure, compost(a decomposed organic waste)manure, compost, and animal by-products, such as feather meal or blood meal and worm casting.

Lower yield: this is the decrease in amount of produced, organic farming always suffers because they don't use chemicals that grow crops faster,so this makes their produce to be small in amount or per unit.

Explain how organic and conventional farming methods impacts soil health.

Organic farming practices have demonstrated beneficial effects by enhancing soil organic matter content, soil porosity, structural stability. In the case of cover crops especially, organic farming is crucial in terms of nutrients since it lowers nutrient losses due to soil erosion and leaching .

It has also improve the soil structure, increase water infiltration and retention.
While the conventional farming kills the soil structure by over fertilizing and using different chemicals .

This will make the soil not to produce well. This leads to significant loss of soil aggregate and causes the top few inches of soil to collapse, creating crusting and reducing water infiltration rates.

In your comparison , which farming method is deemed environmentally friendly? Explain briefly

In my opinion I will say is the organic farming because it doesn't contain any form of chemicals , it will make you eat and gives you enough nutrients that are natural ,it also reduces pollution.

improved soil health , protected biodiversity. and when you are eating crops produce by organic farming , you will not have issues of stomach bite, because they don't have chemicals.

How do conventional and organic farming impacts crops yields which is cost-effective to use?

Organic farming is an agricultural approach that advocates healthy products free from components that may harm humans and nature. The conventional farming is that expensive and time consuming because your fertilizer are growing the crops. The use of GMO crops is also a good way to increase crop yield.

Unlike the organic farming , this requires a lot of work and time for your crop to grow because they is no form of chemicals on it so this one very cost .
