A tractor, as a man made machine ,is characterized by high symmetry and straightness, therefore,a realistic drawing without a template is very difficult with this step guide you can draw a realistic tractor in eight step.for this drawing you will need a pencil,a ruler, divider, an eraser ,a drawing pencil and good crayon to your taste, important overall , you need to draw very precisely so that the tractor look as real as possible .take enough time for this.

Step 1, first, you need guide lines so that the proportion of the tractor are correct in the end divide your rectangle drawing sheet into Three equal sides third and draw the straight guide lines with a thin with a pencil.

Step 2 the wheel: use divider to draw a wheel at the front and back of the sheet, with the large rear wheel extending two-thirds of the hight of the image and front wheel extending one-third . change the radius of the divider to draw parallel circle to delineate the tire rims.

Step 3, guide lines for drivers cabs: two further guide lines with pencil mark the driver's cab.they lie one third behind the center of the rear wheel and exactly in the middle between both wheel centers and lead across the upper two third of the image.

Step 4, from here on, use a drawing pencil ,now use the guide to draw the outline of the tractor , making sure that the line are straight.

Step 5, exhaust and wheel housing: add the first details with the pipe and the fenders.

Step 6, doors, window,tire treads, turn signal and other detail: finish the drawing of tractor with more detail like window, door, step,tire tread, light and vents, pay attention to straight line and symmetry.

Step 7, removing the guides: carefully erase all guide lines and preliminary sketches with the pencil.

Step 8, colouring:in the last step you can color your tractor. Work with shading and color gradation to create a Three dimensional effect.
