• AGRICULTURE

It is the art and practice done by farmers in which they cultivate the plants and maintain/tame live stock for the means of trade, selling and personal usage. In this sect of skill Farmers grow crops, raise livestock and managing natural resources like soil and water irrigation. It is one of the oldest human practice for the purpose of food.

IMPORTANCE OF AGRICULTURE

Although it has a vast importance and impact on livings things in which some of them I have discussed below

• FOOD PRODUCTION

It is one of the important and primary source of food for animals and humans. We get Wheat, Rice, Maize And Fruits Etc

• ECNOMIC GROWTH

It significantly contributes in the economy of the country and contributes in developing regions. It produces job and helps industries and materials for trade

• FOOD SECURITY

It is one of the stable and relible food supply and reduces the risk of hunger and malnutrition in societies

" QUE # 2, What Are The Main Types Of Agriculture Practiced Globally ? "

TYPES OF AGRICULTURE

There are many types of Agriculture and I will be discussing a few down below

• SUBSISTENCE AGRICULTURE

It is practiced to produce food for the farmers family and and little for trade purposed. It is carried on small land with limited technology and by traditional methods. It is common in rural areas.

• COMMERCIAL AGRICULTURE

It is practiced to produce crops and raise livestock for trade and selling it into the markets. It is carried on large land by mechanical tools help and with profit driven margins

• ORGANIC AGRICULTURE

It is eco-friendly agriculture and no synthetic chemicals are used. Its characteristics are Crop rotation, Composting And Natural Pest Control

• NOMADIC HERDING

It is the type of Agriculture in which the nomads rear their livestock in search of pasture and water. It is carried with no tech and by mobile lifestyle people

• Here is a list of crops that are grown globally and their uses

• Cereals (Grains)

• EXAMPLES
  Wheat : Used for bread, pasta and animal feed etc
  Rice :Used as staple food in asia and used as snacks and dishes

• Pulses (Legumes)

• EXAMPLES
  Chickpeas : Used for making of hummus and curry etc
  Soybeans : Used in making of cooking oils, tofu and soymilk etc
