Mount Burni Klieten is located in Central Aceh. This mountain is a mountain with an altitude of 2,930 masl. People often think that Burni Klieten is another name for Burni Telong. But that's not really the case. The name Burni Klieten is not so well known, because its neighbor, Mount Burni Telong has already been known as a popular mountain for climbing. Plus, many think the name "Burni Klieten" is another name for Burni Telong.
Burni Klieten is known as a mountain with a population of orchids. There are various species of orchids that we can meet while climbing Mount Klieten. Burni Klieten can be said to be quite fun as an object of mountain climbing. This is because along the way the climbers will be treated to beautiful views of Lake Lut Tawar. In addition, the hiking trails and tracks are also quite clear. The climbing basecamp is also easy to find. The initial trail of climbing is a pine forest area. Next we will often meet with muddy tracks, namely tracks in the form of traces of wild buffalo.
The starting point of the climb can be found easily because it is a route with a path to the Mengaya Waterfall tourist attraction. The peak of Burni Klieten is not so wide, only enough to accommodate 3 tents. Even so, the scenery is very beautiful, namely the view of Lake Lut Tawar.
