Another brainiac that I have to shut up. Gogeta is stronger than Vegetto in DBZ.
Nope. Fusion Dance only has to match their power levels to perform the fusion, it doesn't play a factor in the outcome of the fusion. It combines the FULL power of both fighters together, as in Vegeta Blue Evolution and Kakarot Blue Kaioken X 20, and significantly magnifying that. That factor doesn't get changed just because of the stronger fighter lowering their power level to perform the fusion. In DBZ, Fusion Dance was declared superior in a Japanese statement that was translated.
"Fusion has better balance and is able to draw their power out 'to the max!!' Therefore if it is a short match of thirty minutes or less, then Gogeta should win, while if it is a long battle, then Vegetto should win!!"
End, quote.
So that destroys your entire, opinion, belief, that lowering the power level to match the other makes the fusion weaker automatically. That isn't a fact anywhere, it's you basically guessing that happens. Which it doesn't.
"then Gogeta should win" Ok so it obviously doesn't lower the fusions end resulting power level.
And the "rivalry boost" oh that was a good one that people misinterpreted. That was referring to it being Vegeta and Kakarot fusing at all. Not just because it's Potara.
As far as DBS goes, I'm pretty sure they ret-conned it. And that's fine, because DBS is a different continuity. It's a different timeline to DBZ Anime and Manga, which according to Akira Toriyama, DBZ TV Animation and Original Manga exist in 'One, Dimension' directly tied into continuity.
A: I consider the TV Animation to be in 'one dimension' with the Manga. I have what I call Canon, which is the TV series and the original, printed comic edition works that are directly tied into continuity.
So we can miss that whole mess too, that DBS somehow retcons the End of Z. Nope, wrong.
Another thing the eggheads all over youtube like Masako X get wrong.
So I've got an idea. Get it right, do your homework, and stop spreading misinformation about Fusion VS Potara all over the internet.
In the DBZ days, Fusion was superior. And I've told you all this, since Tenkaichi 3 was a new game.
But you got your 'views' anyway. And isn't that the point?

angelodugarte9649 Didn't the 7 guide of dragonball or daizenshu say that Pothala was better than the fusion dance? Also, the argument about the translation about how would vegito wins in a long fight against gogeta does not come from any source of official data of the manga/anime is just advertising.

@angelodugarte9649 You can call it 'just advertising' all you like. That's just an excuse, when you don't want to accept the truth. The statement is quite clear. Gogeta is 'stronger' Go read what it says again. And the fight would never go longer than 30 minutes between them. The gap in power would only grow larger with each passing minute really. Gogeta has better balance and controls his energy better, uses less energy to do everything. If that guide says Potara is better, it's probably just talking about it being permanent. It contradicts the statement I showed you, which clearly tells everyone, spoon feeds everyone the answer. Gogeta is stronger in DBZ. The end.

@gundamfightergaming5364 if you could see how many times it has been stated that the pothala is superior to the fusion dance plus the guide books are more reliable even toriyama(rip the goat) said that because forgot a lot of things that's why I say that, also you can glaze gogeta all you want but you forget that he is in a debut that BTW is a movie which makes the his debut even better, is he wouldn't beat Broly everyone would've been disappointed. You say he can control his power better or whatever, but you don't realize the situations vegito has been through, like he fought against 2 immortal beings(which BTW he smoked) but could not win for the sake of the plot, plot that they didn't had to worry about in the movie because yay advertising and hype.

@angelodugarte9649 Also this. Just a comment from someone on there.
LordMilkcaps • 6 yr. ago I mean I feel like this has always been the case. They never explicitly said that Vegetto was a strong fusion, only that the fusion method was superior. There’s multiple ways for something to be greater than something else.

@angelodugarte9649 Bloody hell my other reply didn't go didn't it? Because I put a link probably. I've seen it. Elder Kai is just wrong. It's his Godly Potara so he just says so. He has no idea it's just his belief. It's easier and it's permanent. That's why it's "better"
The Rivalry Boost is only referring to Vegeta and Kakarot fusing at all, not the Potara doing it.
No. I didn't "forget" anything. I'm only talking about DBZ. Who do you think you're talking to? Telling me I forgot something I'm not even talking about? I haven't forgotten anything. You don't know what I'm talking about. DBZ isn't DBS.
I tried to give you a link. It's not just the scan, no no it's a 2 page info graphic with the scan in there and the website, is Kanzenshuu. I say Gogeta controls his power better, because the statement said so. "Fusion has better balance"
You don't need to analyze their fights and I'm only talking about DBZ. DBZ.
"You don't realize what Vegito has been through" I've seen all of it. Who do you think you're talking to? "You don't realize" I did just say "Since Tenkaichi 3 was new" didn't I? I've seen it all. Multiple times. Analysing their fights is meaningless. The statement is only about DBZ. DBS is different and the same material that said "BROLY IS THE STRONGEST ENEMY EVER" also said Gogeta and Vegito are equal. And I always told eeeeveryone that DBS Broly movie Broly was stronger than Jiren, and I was right about that too.
I don't care if they're hyping anything. I never look at any of that stuff before I see a DB anything.
1995 WSJ "Gogeta VS Vegetto Infographic translated"
I can't put the link, the comment just disappears.

@angelodugarte9649 Here's a quote of interest from that very website.
Here's a quote of interest from that very website. "The latest translation to our archives comes from the 1995 #28 issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump and its “Anime J Wing” column, pieces of which are often passed around untranslated and/or doctored alongside various agendas or by unsuspecting, eager-to-learn fans:"
Oh. Who would be doctoring this with various agendas, trying to trick unsuspecting, eager to learn fans?
Someone like you.
Never question me again.
(The end)
Another brainiac that doesn’t realize his own true nature, that he is the greatest of foolz.
Stop trying to talk like you're so smart. Or I will be there to put you in your place.
