The way Cub Defi rewards the users feels like it is only good as a short-term investment. However, it wasn't the case for me; especially looking at how the other Defi platforms have gone so far. I'm not just talking about the price of the token, but rather about the creative ways of bringing more use-case for the token itself.
The Pancake Swap for example has implemented a Lottery as one of the features in their platform. The Lottery allows every participant a chance to win a percentage of the prize pool while burning a certain percentage of the pool permanently. It keeps the users engaged while creating a steady burn rate for the $Cake tokens.
Here's how it look like:
The mechanics are quite simple. The participant will only need to purchase a lottery ticket using the $Cake token(s). A single token will have the potential to win about 832 $Cake tokens for this current draw. Sounds awesome!
But the one that really strikes me is the 333 $Cake tokens to be burn after this draw. That's almost $6000 worth of $Cake tokens out of circulation permanently.
The users are having fun, especially the ones who won the lottery. It also facilitates the burning of the native tokens. And it also provides someone a chance to greatly increase their holdings (if they are lucky enough).
Actually, I wonder why Cub Defi never implements this feature?
I may not be a gambler but I think I will participate once in while if Cub has this. Just to help slash some of that $Cub out of circulation.
Anyway, I think the LeoFinance team has a better plan for Cub Defi, if it's not a gambling-app then I bet that it will be a better one!
