I had a bunch of laughs on this movie; Shazam!
I always tend to skip this one every time I browse my list for movies to watch. Maybe it lacks the thrill that I'm looking for in a typical superhero movie. Today, I finally gave it a try and it's good that I finally did. I never thought that the brand of comedy of this film would click on me. It really is not a typical superhero movie.
As I watched through the trailer, I actually thought that the main character seems childish. Upon watching the movie, I understood where his character came from.
His sidekick was hilarious! That's for sure.
I think that the characters have awesome rapport and I'm glad that they didn't make an awkward superhero-sidekick dispute. The focus was on the fun part of the relationship between these two characters.
There's one thing for sure, it's packed with some good superhero fight scenes.

A superhero who is in the discovery of his true potential. That's my impression of Shazam's character.
It was all fun until he met his greatest foe.
That's the part where he is forced to step in to protect his loved ones.
This is the kind of movie that I could watch a few more times because I won't get tired of its style of comedy. I do have a list of movies that I maintain and refer to every time I can't think of anything else; Shazam will definitely on this list.
The sequence of the story is smooth and there isn't any moment that I felt bored during the entire movie. The effects are also spot-on! I can tell that they put an effort into bringing life to the CGI characters as well. The dialogue is the one that kept my interest in this movie, it's well thought out and the delivery of the casts was also on point.
