Fresh, canned, dehydrated or frozen, fruits are everywhere. It does not matter if it is hot or cold, if we live in the country or in the city, or if our budget is loose or tight. They are so familiar to us that we even use them as a reference: we go "around the block" and sometimes we feel "more bitter than a lemon" or we are nostalgic for the "smell of guava".

We go to fruits in search of gastronomic experiences or simply because we like them. They are there for us to enjoy. however, we are almost completely unaware of its power. They are a treasure of nature at your fingertips; If we know how to take advantage of it, it can improve our daily lives.

All of us, at some point in life, have experimented with a natural remedy: an infusion, a poultice, a juice or simply a fresh plant. Many formulas to cure the most common ailments have been transmitted to us by mothers and grandmothers without any scientific explanation. We use this knowledge without stopping to reflect, we only know that it works.

Today we know which elements of nature serve us but, also thanks to chemical analysis, we understand why, studies can identify the vitamins, minerals and oils contained in a plant, as well as their proportions. What was previously proven by experience, today can be verified, expanded and improved thanks to the instruments developed by man.

Many home and natural remedies work thanks to its components. We know, for example, that magnesium helps ward off insomnia, relieve nervousness, control muscle cramps and increase noise tolerances. When we discover that a fruit produces these effects, we also discover, among other things, that it is rich in magnesium.
