Once again, (self-proclaimed) "fact checkers" could not distinguish truth from fiction.

If we can no longer trust fact-checkers, who can we trust at all? If they say that facts are not facts, which in retrospect they very well turn out to be facts, then that will unsettle many people! So, what do I want to say with it actually? Well, on 01.03.2022 the mainstream medium "Die Deutsche Welle" wrote an article in which the following was in it.

EXTRACT: "The EU wants to provide fighter jets to Ukraine in the future to defend itself against Russia. This was announced by EU foreign affairs representative Josep Borrell on Sunday evening. Now the Ukrainian Air Force claims on Facebook that it will receive 70 fighter jets from Bulgaria, Slovakia and Poland. In addition, Ukrainian pilots could launch "combat missions" from Polish airports. These two claims are false."

You see, they say Ukraine is proclaiming some things on Facebook that are not true at all, because Poland is not supplying any fighter jets at all, which Poland then clarified again, at least according to the (so-called) "fact checkers". Just a little later, you see a Twitter post by Michael Tracey, a U.S. journalist, who claims:

According to recent media reports, Poland is ready to supply fighter jets for Ukraine. Strange, don't you think? Suddenly, officially everything is quite different from what you thought, and it is true after all, which according to "experts" should not be true?
And now comes the next surprise, because if you think Poland, as a neighboring country, will send its fighter jets to Ukraine , then you are very wrong, because Poland has its own worries. Poland is only ready to deliver the Soviet fighter jets to the U.S. base in Ramstein and then make them available to the U.S. free of charge and without delay.

Let's summarize, these fighter jets are coming to Germany to the U.S. base in Ramstein, where they are being delivered so that the U.S. can get them from there to Ukraine. The unbelievable thing is, the Polish government is asking other NATO allies to act in the same direction. So they don't want to hand over the fighters themselves because they fear Russia might then think they are interfering in the war and therefore want to avoid any risk of an attack.

So it is clear to everyone why the transfer should be made only through German territory, which is why Poland is also publicly demanding that other NATO allies should also make the deliveries through Germany. In the worst case scenario, there is only one bogeyman in this way, while the other countries do not have to fear being recognized by the Russians as enemy through their support on the border with Ukraine and becoming involved in this war.

One would think the German foreign minister would have reacted indignantly to the fact Germany has been scheduled by some of its neighbors and NATO partners for a worst-case scenario as a kind of "sacrificial lamb," but instead she expresses herself very cautiously and fears German activities could be misunderstood by a warring party, along the lines of "We are participating in the war!"

As you can see, the main motto of German foreign policy is not to get into trouble anywhere, but at least the reaction was negative, albeit very reserved and with reservations, which must be considered quite an achievement in this weak republic and part of a (so-called) "Western community of values", whose "values" are also questioned by some Westerners.

How fortunate that Russia would have the least to fear in the feared conflict situation and could do without a military response, if only out of pity, especially since the German armed forces are doing about as well as the country's government.
