We read different books today based on different themes for different purpose. Sometimes we just want to time pass , sometimes we just like the book and the theme and sometimes it is because we want to sit in the examination.
There is a small group of people who likes reading holy scriptures but many of us are away from our religion and teachings that it gives. We have so many views about religion but sadly people who are speaking about it don't have enough knowledge about the same themself.
Anyways that's there right to decide whether they want to read any holy scriptures or not. I personally try to know what holy scriptures really say , and believe me you will learn from them anytime you read them and try to understand them.
So i wanted to ask people here who are reading if they read any holy scriptures and if yes then what is the reason behind it. Do you read them because you just love it or you want to learn something in life or is there any other reason for reading them.
If i tell i read them to understand what are the words of God and it makes me feel good and better , i don't know if anyone feels like that she reading their holy scriptures but i do.
