Within 4 days, he survived two atomic bomb explosions.

In other words, out of the only two instances of atomic bomb detonations, he managed to be present both times.

But guess what?

Miraculously, he not only survived but also lived to the age of 94!

What he didn't know was that surviving was just the beginning of his agony.

In August 1945, after concluding his business trip to Hiroshima, Mr. Yamaguchi proceeded to the train station early in the morning, ready to return to the company's headquarters. With his tasks accomplished, Mr. Yamaguchi hummed a tune, unusually cheerful.

However, an unexpected event occurred on his way to the train station. In the sky, a few small parachutes suddenly appeared. Mr. Yamaguchi casually raised an eyelid, indifferent to the situation. He harbored no fear of air raids. Moreover, the bomb seemed far from him and couldn't possibly fall directly on him.

The next moment, he began to curse: "Oh, careless!" This was no ordinary bomb; it was a bomb from a Wang Wei poem—an atomic bomb! Although this "bomb" was indeed far from him, its terrifying power still inflicted considerable harm.

At that moment, a bright light flashed before him, briefly blinding Mr. Yamaguchi. He quickly covered his head with both hands and crouched on the ground. Subsequently, the deafening explosion of the collapsing mountain echoed.

Later, the shockwave lifted Mr. Yamaguchi into the air. He experienced a sensation akin to flying but soon crashed heavily onto the ground. Emitting a pig-like scream, he rolled on the ground five times before losing consciousness.

When he woke up, it was already dark. In the darkness, a fiery pain shot through his arm, as if burned by intense fire. Mr. Yamaguchi took a sharp breath, shivering in pain. Moreover, he discovered an issue with his left ear—it buzzed incessantly, resembling the humming of bees. Upon reaching out, he found his hand covered in sticky blood.

Alarmed, Mr. Yamaguchi needed urgent medical attention. However, in the pitch-black surroundings, he couldn't discern directions. The air was filled with the pungent smell of burnt matter. Stumbling through the darkness, he tripped over an object. Bending down, he felt it was a corpse!

Panicked, Mr. Yamaguchi wanted to flee, but to his horror, corpses surrounded him on all sides. It felt like the apocalypse. Braving the situation, he crawled out of the pile of bodies, searching for a safe place to await rescue.

In the darkness, Mr. Yamaguchi curled up, terrified, enduring a night of fear. Only when dawn arrived could he see the devastated environment—a landscape of ruins with shattered buildings and even some corpses.

At this moment, he found himself amidst a wasteland. Everywhere were remnants of buildings destroyed by the blast, along with scattered bodies. Fortunately, rescue finally arrived.

Oh no! This wasn't just any rescue team; it was a savior! Mr. Yamaguchi grinned widely, emitting a foolish laugh. Finally rescued! It was not easy at all!

Thinking the ordeal was over, Mr. Yamaguchi soon realized he was too naive. The nightmare had just begun......
