Mieruko Chan or Girl that can see it finally got an anime. This is a manga by the mangaka Tomoki Izumi. I knew of this when this was still only in manga form. If I remember correctly it started out as a Pixiv short story. Got really famous and a lot of accreditation which led it to become a full-fledged manga.
I knew of the manga before but I didn't read after 2 chapters because ghost stories aren't my thing. But, recently the anime of it came it and since I was bored I gave it a try. I didn't think it would be this good. The animation really brought out the beauty of the story.
The animation is top-notch and really drives the horror aspect of the story. The characters aren't one-dimensional and the story is enjoyable which makes you forget about time. That's always a good sign.
