I've been teaching my youngest son to drive since he was 8 years old. At that time I only introduced the steering wheel and how to use it. Only when he was 10 years old I taught him how to use the clutch, gas and brakes. After he was fluent in driving a manual car, now he is 15 years old, I again teach driving an automatic car.
