What Will October 2022 Have to Offer?

Back when I was in the art gallery business, we always welcomed the fall and winter months because they represented what we thought of as "indoor time."

Indoor time was a good (or better, anyway) time for art because people were spending a larger portion of their available time inside their "shelter," meaning that they would also be looking around... and pondering ways to change that space to make it prettier, more comfortable, more appealing, more elegant... or whatever.

That was good for selling art, anyway.

The 4th quarter always seems to hold a certain promise.

In a sense, it feels like "harvest season" even within our lives... the time where we get to see whether or not efforts we may have put forth during the year will bear fruit. Soon, we will be comparing the end of the year to what we had hoped at the beginning of the year.

It has not been an easy year for a lot of people, and certainly not for the world, as a whole. Having finally gotten past the worst of Covid, we were suddenly faced with a war and an economic crisis.

Seems like we never get to just live in peace!

Hopefully, October will bring us all the start of a turnaround, of sorts. Heck, even 50-cent Steem by the end of the year would be nice!

Of course, we have outside turnarounds, but there are also inside turnarounds, in the form of our own personal decisions to change something in our lives, in the way we approach things.

The nice thing about inside turnarounds is that we have more control over them.
