Bangladesh has already reached a unique peak in fruit production. Bangladesh is surpassing the previous record in fruit production every year. Bangladesh is now ranked 10th in the world's top domestic fruit production. Fruit researchers say that even two decades ago, mango, jackfruit, litchi, plum, blackberry, banana were the main fruits of this country. Now more than 62 local and foreign fruits are being cultivated in the country. Even a few years ago, the number was in the 50's.
