Greetings 🥰 to you all as I share my first post to this community ♥️ please #steem and #resteem guys 🙏
Today I will like to talk about Vaseline, one of the biggest and oldest brand known for producing popular creams for healing dry skin.
I won't lie to you guys I'm dark skinned and this has been my favorite, I'm not advertising them but rather sharing my opinion/discovery.
Vaseline was discovered and branded by Robert Augustus Chesebrough, a chemist from New York in the year 1860.
According to my research the history of Vaseline® Jelly starts in 1859, when Robert Chesebrough travelled to Titusville, a small town in Pennsylvania. That's where oil workers had been using rod wax, an unrefined form of petroleum jelly – then just a simple by-product of the drilling they were working on – to heal wounded or burnt skin.
Vaseline was made by the Chesebrough Manufacturing Company until the company was purchased by Unilever in 1987.
And today Vaseline is one of the well known quality body lotion and and I'm proud to be there costumer 😊... Below is a photo of my own Vaseline Cocoa glow lotion 💛
