HELLO WONDERFUL PEOPLE OF THIS GREAT COMMUNITY
WET SEASON is one of my most favorite season thou! Despite the various cold and most times moist nature in my country. It is simply the best.
WET SEASON in Nigeria is simply referred to RAINING SEASON or WET SEASON
This time is really welcomed with open arms for the farmers those planting various farm produce or those who just do a little garden.
This period comes with things that are either welcome or not appreciated but it is nature what else can we do.
For me I did prefer this WET SEASON period than the DRY.
Despite the harsh cold, the sickness it brings at the first down pours and many more other environmental hazards.
WET SEASON in my country is simply between April to October.
This is the period where all the planting and other beneficial things are done.
WET SEASON here is considered as a time of plenty.
To some they believe in WET SEASON you have more money than in DRY SEASON.
INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT WET SEASON
• One of the interesting fact about WET SEASON is that it gives a chill environment
• It is a season to spread love
• WET SEASON encourages growth
• It is an ever green season (this makes my favorite color to be green)
What is more interesting to me is the evergreen environments
DISADVANTAGES OF WET SEASON
This period on its own comes with diverse sickness despite the goodness it brings. Recently
there have been serious cold, a lot of people are already suffering from carta and other similar symptoms.
This is not withstanding this is my best period of the year.
There are also areas that are badly affected by flood and other hazards of the environment.
some of these areas are.
State Aid and Relief. According to local media, President Buhari has authorized urgently needed assistance to 12 states worst affected by the seasonal rains. The states are: Kebbi, Niger, Kwara, Kogi, Edo, Anambra, Delta, Kano, Jigawa, Rivers, Bayelsa and Adamawa.
