New Project: Show yourself on Steem Geography! 🌏🌐🗾💙💚Hi, I am @jufranketchup

Hello Steemians. Good day! This time, I would like to join this wonderful community that shows different beautiful views on our planet geography.
According to National Geographic Society, "Geography is the study of places and the relationships between people and their environments." That's why I am glad to be part of this community because I'm a person who loves to explore and go for an adventure.

I will introduce first myself to this community before I will start sharing my best experiences and to tell the world how amazing and beautiful our country is.

My name is Jufran under the screen name @jufranketchup. I came from the Pearl of the Orient Seas which is located at the Southeast Asia, the Philippines. I am 23 years of age and I'm currently working as a Fire Brigade here in our town.

I will share you some history of our country. The Philippines were claimed and discovered in the name of Spain in the year 1521 by the explorer Ferdinand Magellan, a Portuguese who sailing his boat and suddenly saw an Island in his expedition in Homonhon Island, now part of Guiuan, Eastern Samar, Philippines on March 17, 1521 and, that was the first recorded visit.

Cebu City is the Capital of Cebu and it is the oldest city of our country located in Visayas and my place is also part in Visayas particularly in Barangay Basak, Lapu - Lapu City, Cebu, Philippines. Cebu City is also known to be a fishing village before the day that Spaniards came but became modernized and industrialized through the years. It is now one of the most developed provinces here in our country. And Cebu City as the center of commerce and industry. Sometimes, I will go outside using my motorcycle and find a place where I can relax and unwind for the meantime.

When I'm bored, I go to the mountains and hike until I can reach at the top and sightseeing the city view.

I love to swim, this is the one of my favorite hobby. Free dive can relieved my stress specially when I see a beautiful creature and natural resources under water and it makes myself happy and comfort.

I also love to deal with people specially kids. And for your information, Filipino people is very hospitable, respectful, generous, loving, caring and happy to talk with. Being with the kids is a treasure because you will see the real beauty of a Filipino heart through their beautiful smiles.

I hope y'all guys that someday you will travel here in our country and explore our different breathtaking and amazing tourist spot. IT'S MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES
