Souvenirs from Santorini, Greece (5 pics)

I went to Greece a few years ago with a group of friends and we had the chance to visit Santorini island for 3 days and it was very beautiful.

Event if the island was destroyed by enormous volcanic eruption, we can still find artefacts like this one around the island.

Going around the island was quite an experience in our small green car.

We could have rented a scooter, but the air conditioning was a plus for us at them time.

Ruins, beautiful views, great food, great people, a great combination to have a great time.

There is a lot to discover all around, although the island is really relaxing.

The beaches are spectacular, with a nice blue salty water that is just perfect to go swim in.

I never been on a cruise, just took a little boat to reach the island of Santorini but got to see a lot of them all around.

It must be a whole different experience and I don't think I'm ready for it.

Maybe one day, who knows!

Greece is also one of the best places to admire sunset.

Here I was with a nice drink, in a nice restaurant, with nice friends.

A nice way to conclude a nice day visiting Oia.

such a nice tribute to Santorini and such beautiful words... very kind of you

I haven't been there yet, but I hope to go some day in the near future.

It's a bit expensive though...

lovely fotos

It's expensive when you go in high season. I was there in the off season and the hoteliers attracted customers with huge discounts when we got off the boat. We had a super nice hotel for really cheap with a swimming pool and breakfast included.

Thanks for your reply

You are so right,in the early to middle spring is very affordable and not overcroweded...seems like the best season to visit it
