- Logan - To declare a movie after Dark Knight as the best movie of the year is not to say how much I enjoy it. Wolverine's favorite character was always for Hugh Jackman's charisma, Wolverine's stand alone movie has no role there. But when Logan found out about Wolverine's fate, expectations naturally went up. James Mangold broke the Mercury limit and took it much higher with Logan. This is the Logan we deserved. This is fragile Logan. This human Logan is very close to us, very close. Logan used to fascinate us by removing bullets and healing wounds but this bloody Logan, injured Logan brings tears to our eyes.
The claws of the edamantium, which protrude like open-mouthed swords, make us tremble, but each and every claw of the flesh weakens us here. Losing Jean and the frantic Logan losing the frantic Wolverine and Charles makes a difference in our eyes. This Logan is very dear to us, this Logan is very close to us. This Logan loves death, this Logan may have loved life too.
- Dunkirk

- Nolan is back and how! I couldn't match War Movie and Nolan after watching the trailer. But after watching this movie with an uncomfortable commitment, everything seemed to change. Playing with stories Nolan played with storytelling here. Weaving the same story with 3 different timelines in 3 different treatments, water-sky-land 3 aspects seemed to merge into the reality of war.
Another masterpiece - Dunkirk - presented a simple story with unique narration and visuals. A masterpiece of the narration, by the narration, for the narration!
- Blade Runner 2049 - Blade Runner's first film is thought to have played a major role in establishing science fiction as a movie genre. So many were shocked at Ridley Scott's decision to sequel that masterpiece. Because so far there have been a lot of classic ruins going to sequels. But when the announcement came from Ridley Scott Productions that Deni Villeneuve would be in charge of the movie as a director, it seemed as if more excitement came with Blade Runner. Denny Villainur's science fiction film 'Arrival' was one of my favorite and even the best science fiction movies I've seen in the last year.
That day did not disappoint the villainous blade runner. Roger Dickinson's classic dysitopian visuals seem to have taken Blade Runner to another height. If Roger doesn't get an Oscar for this movie, there will be a lot of regrets. In the futuristic world, I am waiting for another movie about this duel of human and replicants.
- Mother - A creator always wants his creation to glorify him. And inspiration plays the biggest role in the creation of the creator. Which will urge him for creation. Now these creators and creations can be defined from top to bottom in the same pattern. Starting from the initial idea, the creator has created man to glorify him. In this case, his inspiration is the world. If the creator is caught by the father figure, the earth can be caught by the mother figure. That which gives place to the creation of the Creator in its womb, nurtures, gives a taste of life. The place for the creation for which mother did so much is at the end of life or by going to that creator.
The person from whom the inspiration is taken has to live the same life again and again. He has to sacrifice himself again and again to bear the grief of being snatched. Yet he cannot claim that he had a role in this creation, nor can he name the creation after himself. What if this whole thing was revealed through the story of a couple? Proper execution of such a complex subject will turn Darren Arenfsky's 'Mother' into a cult. I don't think anyone could have played this role better than Jennifer Lawrence. She made this film happened. And that's why 'Mother is Disturbingly Beautiful'.
- Okaja - A story like Okaja is created when nature and the animals in nature play to bring perfection in human food. Okja One of a Kind movie. A movie that seeks answers to the question of whether a giant piglet is served at the table as a sausage or as a friend of a lonely teenager wandering in the forest.
Gafur-Mahesh of our Saratchandra surrendered to reality and gave up in the battle of life, it remains to be seen whether Okja-Miza will also give up after ninety years! The country changes, the society changes, the reforms and tastes change, not only does the gray reality change - to whom green love has been beating forever.
- War of the Planet of the Apes - At one time everyone was skeptical about the success of trying to reboot the all-time classic series 'Planet of the Apes'. But the reboot of the series is that Caesar, once a pet, took on the responsibility of rescuing the ape from humans. The story of that escape, war and defeat of humanity is told in 3 episodes of this series.
As the third movie, War of the Planet of the Apes ended the reboot series. This may be the first time a trilogy has set the standard for a classic or taken it even higher.
- Stronger - The story of this movie is about Jeff Bowman who lost his foot in the Boston Marathon and became famous. After losing his legs, his life changed, he got close to his broken up girlfriend again, he felt helpless and the embarrassment of fame is strong. Jake Yellenhall has played the role of Jeff impeccably. You will not be fascinated by watching the movie 'Stronger', you will not learn anything new by watching this movie. The mind will be overwhelmed by only one silent depression. Depression is a disorder that is affecting more and more people.
- Wind River - The melancholy coldness behind a melancholic crime thriller, Jeremy Rainer's mesmerizing performance and Elizabeth Olsen's appropriate accompaniment. The story of the rape and murder mystery of a teenage girl. I fell in love with Taylor Sheridan's screenplay. I didn't even know that this screenplay was his before watching the movie, but I kept remembering Hell or High Water. I was surprised to check at the end of the movie, because he has two screenplays.
Just as I found actor Ben Foster in Hell and High Water, I found Jeremy Renner in Wind River. I'm in love with the background score also. I really enjoy this cool sharp silence ..
Here is my list of the best 08. There will be more in the Honorable Mention - John Week 2, Baby Driver, Brick, Shot Collar, Patriots Day, Split, The Lost City of Z, Life, etc. Among the superhero movies this year, Wonder Woman, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Spiderman Homecoming have done well. However, the Justice League has disappointed very badly. Next year I will be excited about Black Panther and Avengers Infinity War. Besides, I have heard that Coco and Loving Vincent have done very well in the animation, it seems that there will be an Oscar race in between. Tom Hanks and Daniel Day-Lewis have come up with their movie very recently. We will have to wait a few more days to know how their movies turned out. After all, this year has been good for Hollywood and English cinema, but in terms of business success, next year may surpass this year as well. In terms of quality, he wants to surpass this year next year, along with all the movie lovers.
