Nurse and photographer Rosem Morton documents life on the frontlines of the fight against COVID-19.

Rosem Morton, a nurse at a Baltimore hospital, writes her name on the hood of her powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR), which attaches to a machine that filters the air. She has to wipe and reuse the hood for the duration of the coronavirus pandemic.
