"We're ready for your close up, Ms. Vardy!"

Hey, friends! Sometimes, making a Steemit post is a testament of will. I’m fortunate to know that the single most effective thing I can do to counteract depression is be productive. Steemit, over the last three years, has become a measure of that productivity. I’ve had bad days, but have said out loud, “Well, at least I got a Steemit post made.”. Today wasn’t bad. I had cleared snow, had some time to write, played MTG with @tarotbyfergus, edited, and now here I am. A good day, but I’m having a hard time getting over the finish line. As soon as this is on the blockchain, I’ll be happy to go to bed.

During my time at @caffetto, I was able to get to some editing after @tarotbyfergus and our friend Micah left the coffee shop […I don’t think I’ve ever met someone that has more endurance for Magic than him, and after a few hours, I had to finally say “Dude, I’ve been playing for hours and I need to get some work done! He still looked sad]. I dug back in to my trip from New Zealand. During my first few days in Auckland, I met Miss Victory Violet and we made our way to Shanghai Lil’s bar for our first day of sessions. Britt Vardy was our first pinup, and I decided to edit more fo her tonight.

Britt doesn’t realize, at the moment, what a bombshell she really is. She’s very young. Eighteen, in fact. When she showed up for the shoot, she was escorted by her mum, who pulled me aside […rightfully], and gave me the interrogation. I assured her that the shoot was entirely professional, and that my colleague, Miss Victory Violet, had worked with me several times and known me for years. Britt was excited, and nervous, but fell in to a natural rhythm as soon as we started shooting. Shanghai Lil’s interior is the stage set from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, which was perfect.

I still have one last set of images to finish for Britt, and I’m planning on finishing them by next week. Lately, I’ve been getting a jolt of enthusiasm from crossing clients off my list of who still needs to be finished, so look forward to more with Britt soon. I have a meeting this week to finalize things with @ghostfish to ready our @coppercoins issues, and @bonni is going to be in town to visit. That’ll be very exciting.
