Todays pics are of Lenten rose plants (Helleborus x hybridus) which are growing in my back yard. They are not really roses, but a hellebore hybrid. The perennial flowers from the buttercup family derive their name from the blooms that look similar to that of a rose.
The first shot is taken with my macro lens to get a bit of a closer look at the details of the flower, and the second gives a broader view of the type of bush that they grow on.
