Lifespan: Why We Age – and Why We Don’t Have To
I have to recommend this book to anyone interested in the science of why we age. It is very well written, includes scientific explanations for why all of the mentioned methods are effective. It also talks about the consequences of a society that doesn't age, both the positive and negative connotations.
I have been implementing some of what is suggested to keep myself youthful, this includes:
- A higher fat diet with low carbs
- Cold exposure
- Daily taking of resveratrol & vitamins - its effects are explained within the book
- Regular exercise
- Intermediate fasting - I try to keep within a 6-8 eating period
I have been doing this for about 6 months, I haven't gotten ill once and my energy levels are a lot more consistent.
The whole point of the book is to show us that ageing isn't inevitable and our bodies have the capabilities of functioning forever if we treat them right and have some assistance from science to reset them.
This is just a summary of the book, I would suggest checking it out.

They are already, plus the technology and science are only just beginning in terms of treatments available. Also, people are staying young for longer just look at some of the current celebrities.
We won't find out for awhile though, I have time anyways haha.

Celebrities use botox, face lifts, wigs and all sorts of weird stuff to make them look younger on the outside, that doesn't mean they are actually slowing down the aging process. Most of them don't smoke now, that might make them live a bit longer. I don't think there's been much of a change, those that are getting past 100 now are old school and I doubt they've been using things like resveratrol.
